Birdies for Charity is a fundraising matching program utilizing the excitement around the 3M Open, an official PGA TOUR® event, to assist Twin Cities area non-profits in raising awareness and funds to support their missions.
3M Open
As an official PGA TOUR stop and part of the FedExCup series, the 3M Open brings the world’s best golfers and elite competition to the Twins Cities with a mission of promoting the game of golf for the benefit of local charities.
The 3M Open is held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota the week of
July 20-26, 2026.

The 3M Open Fund, based in Minnesota, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) foundation created when the tournament was founded by 3M and the PGA TOUR in 2019. The 3M Open serves as the principal fundraiser for the organization’s efforts to support local and regional charitable organizations.
